What can my business manage with Kiota?
Kiota brings payroll, HR, attendance, invoices, customer records, POS and stock management into one platform, helping your team stay organised and spend less time on everyday administration.
What is included in the free month?
Your company gets 30 days to use the modules in its selected package. After the trial, renew monthly, quarterly or yearly to keep adding and updating records.
Can our staff use Kiota on their phones?
Yes. Kiota is mobile friendly and can be installed through your browser as a web app. Attendance requires internet and location permission, plus your company’s configured workstation location unless IT has approved remote attendance for you.
How do subscription payments work?
After M-Pesa is enabled by the platform team, company administrators can request STK payment prompts. Automatic renewal prompts are optional. Every payment still needs the payer’s M-Pesa PIN approval.
Can we choose what each team member can access?
Yes. Company administrators can choose the tools each person can use and update their access as responsibilities change.
Does Kiota calculate statutory payroll deductions?
This release calculates gross pay, total deductions and net pay from the amounts your payroll team enters and reviews. Statutory deduction rates, filing and salary transfers are handled outside the platform.
